Yellowstone River

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Winding through Hayden Valley the Yellowstone River is a beautiful sight to be seen. This was a quick trip into the park that landed me there during the 4th of July holiday, still spring for this area with all the prairies in fresh green. As I waited for the light to hit the edge passer-byes kept asking...what are you looking at? I would respond the landscape. Blank looks would be received back as they scurried off looking for bison, elk, or another of the big five. I smiled as I had the scene for myself to share later. Photo © copyright by Lance B.
